People ask me all the time what "Sprawl and Crawl" means, and I have a pretty simple answer. Everything that affects EVERYONE right now in the D.C. region.

It is an important beat. There's the sprawl: housing, development, land use, planning. Then there's the crawl: traffic, transportation, congestion, basically everything that irks you on your daily commute.

I'm here to try and sort it all out for you.

I went to college at Fordham University in New York City. I started out my broadcast career in the Big Apple, and have also been on the air in Wilmington, Del. and now here at WTOP in D.C.

When I need a break from the news, I'm teased by the sports teams from my hometown (Philadelphia) and cry as they continue to play with my hopes of a championship.
