I was born on May 8 and originally am from Hamden, Connecticut

Hobbies: Dancing, driving and shopping.

Favorite Musical Selection (Artist, album, style, genre): "Meet the Beatles"

Favorite Book : The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler.

Favorite Movie (Of this year, ever): The Wizard of Oz.

How did you get into radio? I used to listen to Marv Albert do play-by-play of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers on WNBC radio, and was amazed that I could "see" the game through his words.

Who were or are your heroes and inspirations?
As a kid, my idol was Mickey Mantle. Now, I'm impressed by people who are able to remain focused on enjoying life, despite adversity.

What story have you covered that had the most lasting impact? I was moved by the Million Man March. It had drama, controversy and fascinating personal stories.

If you could have changed the course of history what would you change? My junior high school prom. During the last song I asked someone OTHER than my date to dance. Don't worry, I was turned down.
