America's Enemies Working on WMD: 'No Doubt in My Mind'

"There is no doubt in my mind that the people who would like to do us harm, would very much like to use a weapon of mass destruction of some type, whether it be chemical, biological or the worst being some type of nuclear explosive," said Joseph Billy Jr., the FBI's top operational counterterrorism official whose last day on the job is Friday.

Dear Billy Boy,

Yes there are terrorists out there and they want to do bad things to us and others in the world. But since you're a member of this administration, you have no credibility whatsoever either in your assessment of the situation or in your proposed solutions. Zero.

Why? Because the lies we've been fed by the Bush gang on this subject could fill that warehouse at the end of the first Indiana Jones movie.

We'll need a new administration before the American people can move forward and deal with terrorism effectively. That's just the way it is, because that's just how your bosses made it. kthxbye.

You mean there are terrorists out there that want to hurt us?
Thank goodness Joseph Billy Jr. fianlly let us know about this.
I wonder how long they knew?
I also wonder if Joseph is leaving his job and moving to Australia before setting off the WMD and blaming it on the terrorists.

What is the truth and what to believe anymore is beyond me!

You continue to berate liberals as being terrorist lovers or sympathizers is just that much more time you are blathering into the vapors. The terrorists love the infighting you do, because it's energy expended NOT searching for them.

We're on the same side you dingbat, can you at least agree that Bush has NOT been a successful or competent president? Choosing a wild goose chase in Iraq, instead of going after the REAL terrorists?

Where in the world is Osama bin Laden?

Neo-cons have no more idea than liberals do, but they insist they've kept us safe and want credit for it (despite not having a clue where he is). In reality, I'm absolutely sure that the FBI and CIA are doing everything they can to protect us, but they really haven't gotten the job done.

You think bin Laden's huddling in a cave somewhere? Perhaps, but for a billionaire, it's probably the nicest cave you can imagine. He should be in a 6x6 cell. Bush has not done his job, and you refuse to hold him accountable for letting bin Laden get away.
You need to

Look into a man named Abu Nidal who took up residence in Bahgdad, Iraq until his death in 2002. Rest assured, he was simply enjoying his retirement.

Chances are Bin Laden is in Pakistan working with people there to get nukes. Just as Abu Nidal was in Baghdad working with people to get WMD. But then again, maybe Bin laden is retired!

However, if we go into Pakistan you will claim we are wasting our time because Pakistan never did anything to us.

Iraq had WMD and Pakistan has nukes. Bad people are/were in those countries seeking access to them. Plain and simple.

You talk about blathering into the vapors. You and your ilk accuse this administration of blatently lying about WMD in Iraq when we were merely 5% of the world with the same intelligence gathered by 20+ countries' 60+ intelligence orginizations. Yet you believe everything that comes out of a Clintons' mouth!

You state,

"Bush has not done his job, and you refuse to hold him accountable for letting bin Laden get away."

Bush was never offered Bin Laden numerous times!
And while you are at it...

Find a nice woman that can help you out with your appearance.

But even I know that your mustache DOES NOT work for you brother. You look like a cross between a 1970's porno star and Snidely Whiplash.

Idiots like this peice of work Mohammed are every where and some are even in our own colleges. In my opinion, Mr. Billy is saying one thing, "enjoy each day and live life to the fullest because "its" coming and probably alot sooner than we think.
If you need help remembering, just read it, learn it, know it and believe it......

"The planes that killed more than 3,000 people In New York, Washington and Pennsylvania were piloted by terrorists, some with college degrees. In fact, the mastermind of the attacks, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, attended Chowan College, a small Baptist school in Murfreesboro, N.C., for a few years (beginning in 1983) before transferring to the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and completing a degree in mechanical engineering in 1986. From top to bottom, all seemed to possess a deep desire to carry out their mission to the end".

What else do you need to hear?
where were you on 9-11?
Report Commentby Lil D @ 11:57am - Fri Mar 14th, 2008
Dear Hopalong C,
Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001, the day terrorists attacked us? Do you remember that happening?
You, like many others, are ignorant fools. "Bush lied, people died" is the typical mantra of those who choose not to understand that peace in the Mideast is an oxymoron - it will never happen. History has taught us this.
Yes, Bush was president when the attacks occurred, but he had only been in office barely a year. Events were already in play when the towers fell. The "beloved" president Clinton was golfing when the USS Cole was attacked, and instead of launching an investigation and reprimanding those who attacked us, he finished his golf game and had an affair with a less-than-attractive woman. The Lewinsky affair was his way of avoiding the real roles of his presidency - and making sure the media stayed away from the USS Cole scandal.
You, like many others, have absolutely no respect for those who were killed on 9-11 and for that I feel very sorry for you.
Unlike you, I remember 9-11 - I watched the towers fall. My little cousins had to grow up across the street from the makeshift morgue. And since day one I have supported the war on terror - and supported, whole-heartedly, our troops. I pay for this every day, when people like you make rude comments like this - or when they throw things at my car for supporting the troops.
Furthermore, Hopalong C, did you realize this man served our country for 30 years? That means he was part of other administrations not just Bush's.
I am not sticking up for Bush. He has fallen short of everything I had hoped he would do. But your comments attacking the memory of 9-11 victims are completely out of line.
Please get your facts straight before kibitzing. This war is not about oil, or about Bush's "lies," or even about your right to spew hatred for our troops and our fellow Americans. This war is about making sure terror never touches us or any other parts of the world again.
If you do not support the war, you do not support freedom. It's that simple.
Your comments personally offend me. I am not a religious person, but as of now, I pray for your soul.
This war is about making sure terror never touches us.

Bullcrap!!!!

If that were true our borders wouldn't be so wide open and airport security would be a lot tighter. George W. Bush is the epitome of an idiot presedent. He doesn't give a crap about the American people.
Not entirely accurate
Report Commentby Lil D @ 12:52pm - Fri Mar 14th, 2008
I'm for a closed border, as well as putting the military there to ensure that terrorists don't crawl in or through. I think minutemen should be more like law enforcement officers, and shoot on sight. But that's just me, and I'm not in charge.
You missed my point entirely. I don't want to get into a battle of wits, but this is just what I'm saying - you, like others, blame Bush for everything under the sun, but don't realize it's not just Bush's fault for the border problems. These were all latent issues during previous administrations. Yes Bush messed up by not closing the border, but when you have hysterical neo-hippies criticizing everything from your domestic policy to how you flush the toilet some things get neglected.
I don't think he deserves a pass - but listen, folks, he was given a country full of mistakes to correct.
Speaking of which, Mark S, it's "president." Your feeble attempt at humor calling Bush an "idiot" is just that, feeble.
Perhaps the next president can make positive changes in our country. If that person is John McCain, I sorta believe it. If it's Obama or Hillary, I don't.
Instead of pointing blame, offer constructive criticism. What do you recommend we do about the border problem - as well as terrorists stalking countries they are jealous of?

Your idea of closing the border, as well as putting the military there to ensure that terrorists don't crawl in or through. making minutemen be more like law enforcement officers, and shoot on sight is a fine idea.

My point was that Bush needs to do SOMETHING here before this country crumbles while he wastes all our resources in Iraq.

I don't blame Bush for everything because these problems have been going on for a long time. I just think he has taken everything to a new level.

It's a matter of giving non-information. We already know the terrorists want to do something big here. We already know they want to hurt/kill as many as possible. We already know they're trying to create weapons to carry out such a plan, especially since the whole plane-to-missile thing worked so well last time.

Billy's trying to get one more "See? Just wait! I'll be proven right!" statement in before he steps down and no longer has a microphone at his mouth.

maybe he is trying to tell us as much as he can without violating his nondisclosure agreement and tipping his/our hand to the terrorists?

Or maybe you are right, he is a lying Bush cronie. I wonder what he was when Clinton was Prez? Or when he first came into the FBI under Jimmy Carter? Was he a Bush cronie then?

Unfortunately they want to attack all Americans, not just the leftwing whackjob conspiracy theorists.

Then he would be saying more by not saying anything at all. Non-information is just as bad, if not worse, than wrong information. We KNOW they're out there, we KNOW they're planning another attack, and we KNOW we have people whose job it is to try to stop them.

Wow. Profound.

Of course extremists are going to get more sophisticated in their methods. And yes, it can happen anywhere.

Just like it will rain somewhere around the world today. It could be here in DC, or it could be London. Oh, and I think the sun will shine.

The article's comments are just the continuation of spreading fear. It is easier to control the masses using fear than any other means. And with that fear, let me trample your right to privacy, or make the case that we need continuity by keeping the current administration's people in place in the upcoming election.

Although alot of it is speculation it is based on intelligence and trends. Trends that have been tracked and studied since the 1950's if not earlier.

So are we best prepared to fight the most extreme of terrorists by spending hundreds of billions for war and reconstruction of Iraq?

It would appear that when we've finished our good deeds in Iraq, that country would be a great place where freedom flourishes and free of terrorists and WMD, while our own country would be filled with illegals and sleeper cells of terrorists.

It's a great warning and a reminder. How about changing the current policies to minimize the cost of our resources and to maximize our chance to prevent serious terrorist attacks.
Wake up USA
Report Commentby John R. @ 10:42am - Fri Mar 14th, 2008
I salute Billy on his efforts and congradulate him on his retirement.
BUT what is it going to take to have the PC folk wake up? It is not Bush nor is it Bill Clinton--- it is the al-Qaida. Many very vocal liberals in USA feel that we can give them money or gifts so "we can all get along. It does not work that way. The muslim extremists 'raison-d'etre' is to hurt the USA and bring down Western Civ. Check out a history book from the library. The only thing that truned back the jihaad of circum 1100 AD was, to quote; "the English broadsword".
I am amazed with the naive perspectives of some people. You can not invite them to lunch and sing a song to make things better.
Osama is not important other than of symbolic significance. The extremist movement is the problem. As Billy (and others) suggest "it' will happen again. Ignoring the ones attacking us is not the solution. There is no appeasement of them.
