Arrest Made in FedEx Security Guard's Death

November 15, 2006 - 3:59pm
BELTSVILLE, Md. - An arrest has been made in the murder of a security guard at a FedEx distribution center in Beltsville, Prince George's County Police say.

Police say 41-year-old Fabian Andre Shim faces first-degree murder charges in the killing of 26-year-old Reina Lynch.

Lynch, who was a mother of two, was found Saturday near the gate of the facility on Trolley Lane.

The Bowie resident had been shot once in the upper body.

Police initially said the crime appeared to be random, but now say Shim and Lynch were in a relationship and had argued about child support.

Shim was arrested Tuesday at his home in the Forestville area. He is being held without bond.
