February Charity of the Month

The WTOP Charity of the Month for February is the The Epilepsy Foundation.

The Epilepsy Foundation, a national nonprofit organization with headquarters in the Washington Metropolitan area, has affiliates across the country including Maryland, DC and Virginia that provide programs and services for the nearly 3 million Americans living with epilepsy.

On Saturday, March 27 at 8:30am on the National Mall in Washington, DC, the Foundation will host the world's largest gathering of people impacted by epilepsy. Join actor Greg Grunberg, of NBC's Heroes, WTOP's own "Man About Town" Bob Madigan, and a host of other celebrities for the National Walk for Epilepsy.

Your support of this family-friendly event will raise awareness of epilepsy, increase funds for much needed programs and help in the search for a cure.
