Taylor Behl Would Have Been 18 Today

VIENNA, Va. (AP) - Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Taylor Behl would have turned 18 Thursday, but instead of birthday cake and presents her family is planning to lay her to rest.

A viewing will take place Thursday and her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Holy Comforter. Both events will be in her hometown of Vienna, but they're not open to the public.

Behl's decomposed body was found last Wednesday in wooded area in rural Mathews County, Va. Her cause of death remains under investigation.

Behl had just started at the university in Richmond last month when she disappeared.

She was last seen around 10 p.m. Labor Day.

Amateur photographer Ben Fawley, 38, is one of the last people who saw Behl. He remains in jail on child pornography and firearms charges. He'll remain jailed until his Oct. 31 preliminary hearing.
