Thousands hope for inauguration tickets

WASHINGTON - Everyone looking for inauguration tickets will have to wait - for now.

There are no inauguration tickets available yet.

D.C. registered voters can submit their names via e-mail to D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton's office at nortoninaugurationrequests@gmail.com.

As many as 240,000 tickets are being printed to get ahead of people scalping the tickets, which will be free.

Norton's office has already received thousands of calls and e-mails requesting tickets. No inaugural committee has been formed yet.
