Police Raid Suspected Brothel In Northeast

March 16, 2008 - 11:33am
WASHINGTON -- Police raided a house in Northeast suspected of being a brothel early Saturday morning after getting complaints from neighbors.

Police arrested 20 people at the home on Anacostia Avenue and say they have physical evidence it was being used for prostitution.

The suspects say they were just having a bachelor party when police came. But neighbors tell Channel 7 they don't believe it.

"I doubt it was a bachelors party," says one neighbor. "If it was, there was one every day, every weekend."
