How long should you keep kids at home when they have the flu?

Fairfax County Health Director Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu says not to send your kids to school immediately after they feel better.

"Wait for 24 hours after the fever is gone, without taking Tylenol or Motrin," says Addo-Ayensu.

The goal is to minimize the spread of flu viruses at school and work.
