Mace unleased at movie theater sends 3 to hospital

June 30, 2008 - 4:46am
BELTSVILLE, Md. -- Three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were taken to two area hospitals after mace was apparently released in a movie theater Sunday night.

As many as 60 people may have been affected.

Two patients were taken to Holy Cross Hospital and one to Laurel Regional Hospital, according to Prince George's County Fire and EMS.

The Prince George's County Police Department tells WTOP no arrests have been made and investigation is underway. The police assisted the fire department with crowd control after the incident at AMC Loews Center Park 8 on Powder Mill Road.
