Aside from his forecasting duties as Meteorologist for the new Saturday morning newscast on ABC 7, Adam hosts ABC 7's "Neighborhood Weather" segments weekdays on Good Morning Washington. If there is a storm, he is usually in the middle of it, reporting the latest with Storm Chaser 7. In calm weather, he still untilizes the capabilities of Storm Chaser 7 by broadcasting the forecast and current conditions live from locations near you.

After Good Morning Washington, you may see Adam on the road during the morning rush hour, as he makes numerous appearances to teach kids about the weather while showing them the instrumentation in Storm Chaser 7. Along with Good Morning Washington, Adam also enjoys his forecasting duties on NewsChannel 8 and WTOP Radio.

It was at an early age that Adam developed a natural curiosity about the workings of the atmosphere and the challenges of forecasting. He is originally from Edina, Minnesota and earned a degree in Meteorology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Adam got involved in television while in college and landed his first TV job at Prairie Public Television, then KVRR-TV, in Fargo. The bone-chilling winters in Minnesota and North Dakota were actually enjoyable for Adam, as he has always loved winter weather and especially snow storms.

Additionally, Adam enjoys exercising, mountain biking, fishing, walking dogs, and he is a college hockey and baseball fan.
