That jumbo soda that pairs so well with an equally large bucket of popcorn may not be doing you any favors during a two hour long movie, but RunPee.com gives moviegoers advice on the best time to hit the bathroom.
For example, "Terminator Salvation" runs nearly two hours long, and as the website asks, "can you hold it that long?"
RunPee suggests two times mid-movie where you can run to the restroom without missing an important part of the movie. The first is about 50 minutes in, where the site says you have 3 minutes to make your move.
If you don't think you could stand to not know what happens, RunPee gives brief summaries of what happens during those minutes you're not in the theater. Thankfully, for those who can't stand to have a minute of the movie spoiled, the site scrambles those descriptions until you hit a button that unscrambles them.
The site's content is generated by it's users. Moviegoers who have seen the movie log in after they've seen the movie and suggest when they would have liked to have run to the restroom instead of sticking it out, and struggling through the rest of the movie.
The site even lets you print out the suggested times so you won't have to break out your Blackberry or iPhone during the movie.
However, the site does have its quirks. Because the content is all user generated, not every new movie will have suggested times.
So, the newest blockbuster might not have any suggested times, leaving moviegoers to ask themselves "can I hold it?"
